The Many Benefits Of Using Verizon As Your Cellular Provider
Much has been written about Verizon’s recent advertising campaign that takes a direct swipe at AT&T’s network. The advertising image pits the “red” coverage against the “blue” coverage and the image makes an effective argument in favor of using Verizon over AT&T.
And now, with the introduction of the Droid and HTC smartphones, authorized Verizon retailers like Cellular Sales are positioning themselves to be the unquestioned leaders in 3G, web-enabled, smartphone sales (can you say adios iPhone?)
As the exclusive carrier of the iPhone, AT&T won many new customers. But the network has had its share of critics, many of whom have complained about dropped calls, missing text messages, limited bandwidth, and other problems associated with a lack of coverage.
Some industry insiders have said that this newest Verizon ad comes amid a report that Apple could more than double its market share in the U.S. if it ended its exclusive partnership with AT&T.
Personally, I use Verizon as my carrier of choice. Even in a locale with no Verizon towers, the carrier’s strategic agreements with our local cellphone company have given me two years of reliable service. With a new Verizon tower under construction, effective and cost-effective 3G service will soon be available for everyone in my county.
